![]() (Note that when offline, there doesn't seem to be a way to easily figure out which CAFD file is which, since they use cryptic CAFD ID numbers and do not have the logical names included). I did this offline, opening the appropriate CAFD NCD file in E-Sys while not connected to the car. I decided to start by making only a few minor updates to HU_NBT2 to make sure I was following the right process before I start making more extensive changes. I did NOT change my E-Sys from version 3.28.1. (I was using 60.2 when I first attempted earlier this week) I swapped out my Psdz data file for 60.4. There are so many threads, different versions of all the programs and files, and a ton of what may be outdated information online that it is tough to really get a clear understanding of what to use and the steps to follow. If I expanded the Details, it gives bunch of Java error messages.Īny thoughts on what I am doing wrong? Do I have an incorrect PSdZ Data file? (I pulled the I-Step data for my car and it indicates: "F025-16-11-503")Īs I said, this is my first time attempting to code myself and I have found all of the instructions to be a bit confusing to say the least. But when I attempted to "Edit FDL" on any of the grey ECU directories, I would always get an error: ![]() Since I had the CAFD info saved, I decided to try to code one change, to see if it would work. However, I was then able to follow instructions from Opasha on one of the threads to save all of the CAFD files and confirmed this in my /DATA/CAF directory. When I press "Read SVT (.", I receive an error message stating:Ĭode: service returned global negative responseĭescription: Service RC_VCM_GEN_SVT returned a negative response with response code requestOutOfRange ECU: I was able to establish a connection from E-Sys to my car without issue (used F025), it read the VIN info correctly.įollowing some steps/recommendations I read on backing up my config first, I successfully backed up the FA information, but then started hitting trouble when trying to read and save SVT. ![]() ![]() I am attempting to code my 2017 F15 X540e and have run into some issues. ![]()
